Days Gone: Remastered Coming This Spring

Days Gone: Remastered

You may remember we saw rumors last year of both a remaster for Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone. In the end, one of the rumored remasters, Horizon Zero Dawn, that Guerrilla Games released was extremely thorough. You can find a more detailed look at that here. The focus today is on the other rumor we saw. That was a release for Days Gone: Remastered. Now, at the time of writing, the recent State of Play presentation has not long since finished, and the popular zombie open-world game has since been confirmed for a remaster. So let’s break down what we know about this upcoming release.

The first thing to note is that the original game did see some PlayStation 5 support. Consequently, this was not in the form of a native upgrade similar to Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2. This was updated to support the new hardware in the form of a remastered release. Days Gone: Remastered is now available to specifically utilize the PlayStation 5. Also, the game will be taking advantage of the PlayStation 5 Pro. If you want to see what we thought of the original game, feel free to look here. Now let’s show you the official trailer.
