Sony’s Bend Studio will let gamers hop back into Days Gone with higher resolution and frame rate. Recently, Bend Studio unveiled via an official tweet what they have in store for Days Gone on the PS5. This consists of enhancements that will provide support for up to 60 frames-per-second with dynamic 4k. Meaning, the resolution will switch up and down from its 4k resolution to consistently maintain performance. This, of course, will vary depending on how taxing the ongoing scene is. Aside from visual upgrades, Bend Studio also mentioned how you will be able to transfer your PS4 Days Gone saves to the PS5. Consequently allowing you to pick up the game wherever you left off, whether you haven’t finished the game or are in a new game plus. Days Gone is not the first to acquire next-gen upgrades, you can check out what Resident Evil Village will feature over here.

What if you don’t own it

Never fear, PlayStation Plus is here. It just so happens that Days Gone is one of many wonderful titles that will be featured in the PlayStation Plus Collection. Alongside titans like Bloodborne, God of War, Persona 5, and The Last of Us, you will be able to play these and more if you become a PS Plus subscriber. On the PS4, the benefits of PS Plus consist of online play and two free games a month. Two a month might seem like a better deal at first, however, the PS Plus Collection features some of this generation’s top titles. Furthermore, you are guaranteed to enjoy at least one of them, instead of hoping that one of the next two games catches your attention. Speaking of PS Plus, November’s free titles were announced. This month’s free games are Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, and the first PS5 free game Bugsnax.
