Supermassive has absolutely made a name for themselves in the horror scene. And especially with the Dark Pictures Anthology published by Bandai Namco. They Have only grown in their success with the end of their first season of stories coming this fall! And not just content with dropping the next entry; they also a released an update for the past Dark Pictures Anthology games.

Coming from the official Twitter account for the Horror Game there was an update about the past games. In the tweet and trailer, we see that there are new gameplay mechanics to the games. As well as newly added difficulty settings and QTE settings for accessibility options. We also see that the games are getting overhauled as well with improvements on next-gen systems. So this could mean enhanced graphic settings and framerates, improved textures, and increased load times. While it isn’t specified these are just some possibilities.

But the biggest announcement is that they added an extended playable chapter and death scene in Man of Medan. That means there are new scares, and secrets to reveal and experience. The update is now live on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The Steam version is currently bugged and will be patched with a hot fix later.
