CD Projekt Red has not long since delivered the planned upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077. Unfortunately soon after the developer announced that they have delayed the upgrade on The Witcher 3 for reasons unspecified. However, the focus seems to back on their newer title. More specifically, the details regarding the expansions which information was expected prior to the game’s launch.
They had to delay development on expansions post-launch. No thanks to focusing more on fixing the base game that didn’t have the greatest launch. Especially with all the issues surrounding the base Xbox One and PlayStation 4 performance.
The Question Is When We’ll Hear Information On The Cyberpunk 2077 Expansion
We have heard very little about them at this point. Though a post on Twitter gave a little more information about what’s to come from the studio such as the expansion coming next year. They are also going to share more information later in the year
Piotr Nielubowicz the studio’s vice president confirmed more in their latest earnings update. VGC has transcribed the information which tells us more is on the way. He also believes in “the long-term potential” of the game.
They are also working on even further DLC for the game. However, Nielubowicz didn’t go into further information on what this would be. Cyberpunk 2077 has seen some post-launch DLCs which were free. This was in and was relatively small. The DLC in question consisted of a new vehicle and a couple of jackets.
The current sales estimate is now at more than 18 million copies. However, what is your take on this? Are you still enjoying Night City? Or did you play the game at launch and find it a struggle and never returned. Whatever your take on this news, we’d love you to get in touch and share your experience with the game.
