The larger-than-life title that looks too good to be true has officially gone gold. The South Korean company Pearl Abyss, which developed and published Crimson Desert, has basically said it is go time. When a publisher announces a title has “gone gold,” it means they believe it is ready to be experienced by the public. So gamers who have been looking forward to this stunning-looking game (myself included) can be excited and not expect any delays. The official Crimson Desert socials sent out words of thanks from the Pearl Abyss team.
“We sincerely thank our fans around the world for being with us on this meaningful journey…. Thanks to your support, we have reached this important milestone. We look forward to welcoming you to the continent of Pywel on March 19 ”.
Pearl Abyss
We are months away from experiencing the latest title from the publisher that created the MMO Black Desert. Since its first reveal in 2019, I have been looking forward to Crimson Desert. The game honestly looked too good to be true. It seemed like an amalgamation of a lot of open-world titles I have enjoyed over the past few years. But the wait is almost over; we will be able to explore the world of Pywel on March 19, 2026. You can preorder the game now for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Apple Mac, and the Epic Games Store!
About Crimson Desert
This game takes the open-world action-adventure genre to new heights. As Kliff, the last Greymane, you will explore the vast, seamless world of Pywel. The Black Bears, an enemy group, ambushed the Greymanes, leading to their defeat and scattering throughout Pywel. This event kicks off a grand adventure centered around a tale of vengeance and rebuilding.
