Now look it’s been a while since I have given an update to my backlog journey. Christmas is the bane of my backlog along with reviews, MMO’s, FPS’, and humble bundles. It was clear from the beginning that this was going to be an uphill fight but dang. Then the monster that is February 2022 releases is around the corner it’s wild, I am going to need to clone myself. Have you taken a minute to look at what is scheduled to release next February? Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Sifu, Horizon: Forbidden West, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Saints Row, and Elden Ring! These are the only titles I have been following there are quite a few more.
How Is Christmas The Bane Of Your Backlog
Let’s bring it back to the point, Christmas oftentimes means gifts, and gifts for gamers usually are games! You see the problem here, ok it is not much of a real problem it’s a blessing but it does add to the backlog. These first-world problems are weird to complain about but it’s fun journaling with you folks. Ok, get back on track. I was gifted with Resident Evil Village, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spiritfarer, Ghostrunner, and a gift card. So much gaming is going down. Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 are the shooters eating up a lot of my time right now. The MMO I have been playing has been put on ice for me (sorry New World). I did beat Firewatch that was an emotional rollercoaster.
Does this change my goal of the neverending battle with my backlog? Nope not at all, I will continue to play through these games and get sidetracked by 100 hour RPGs. Let me know below what games you got for Christmas and how your own backlog is looking (I know you have one).
