Last year saw the release of the STALKER esque RPG Chernobylite. Lv1 Gaming reviewed the game favorably last summer when the full PC version launched. However, we had to wait a few months for the console release. That launched last September, with a promise we’d see a Chernobylite upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This was later confirmed in the road map.

Then in February, we got the news that the Chernobylite upgrade was coming soon. So at the time, we got a release date of April 21st and it was a free upgrade for owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. Also for those on PC, a new Enhanced Edition was to be released for free. Today is the day the upgrade was released and the developers on Twitter have in the countdown provided some comparisons. These can be seen further down
