I have written an article advocating for the remake of Dino Crisis, citing strong reasons for its necessity and potential success. However, soon after I published my article, Capcom made an announcement that was not related to a Dino Crisis remake. Instead, the company revealed a digital showcase event, which may disappoint fans of the game who were hoping for a remake.
While rumors of a Dino Crisis remake have been circulating, it would be a remarkable coincidence if Capcom were to announce one just after I wrote my article. Therefore, fans should not get their hopes up too high for the upcoming showcase event, as it is primarily focused on promoting upcoming games, such as the Resident Evil 4 remake and Street Fighter 6, which are set to be released on March 24th and June 2nd, respectively. It is possible that a demo for Resident Evil 4 may be released after the live stream, as hinted in the trailer. Additionally, Capcom has mentioned Exoprimal will be part of the upcoming event in a tweet from the official Twitter account.

Eurogamer has shared additional information about the upcoming event. It has been announced that the event will be broadcast on both YouTube and Twitch. The event is scheduled to take place on March 9th at 2:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM GMT / 11:30 PM CET. In addition to The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, other games that will be showcased include Monster Hunter Rise, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.
What are you looking forward to in the upcoming event? The event is set to be 26 minutes long, so it’s unlikely that there will be in-depth coverage of many games.
