Console owners seem to be skipped over when it comes to the simulation genre of games though it is slowly improving. For example, the strangely addictive Gas Station Simulator took a while to hit consoles. House Flipper is on PC and console, but the console versions are missing some DLC that the PC gets first, or the DLC just won’t come to consoles. That makes it nice to see a fairly new simulator title get announced for consoles. We have previously talked about Cafe Owner Simulator, and we have even previewed the prologue.
The Cafe Owner Simulator game is inspired by sandbox and simulation games. In the prologue I had a very run down cafe that needed renovation, and I had to start setting up to open and prepare to run my business. At time of the prologue and PC launch we had no clue if Cafe Owner Simulator would get a console release. Finally, we have news on a console release and it is also available now as a full title on Steam.

Back in October of 2022, I reached out via Twitter and asked about the console release, but I never heard a response. That was until just recently when they confirmed the console version was planned after they had launched on PC. Which did launch back towards the start of December 2022.
As for a release date or window, no information has been given at the time of writing. I did reach out to them again and ask if they could provide any news.
