LV1 Gaming made its way to this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025) and we had the opportunity to check out the bHaptics booth. Look, I have to be completely honest: I did not think they were going to have anything for me to fit into. Boy, was I absolutely wrong; to clarify, I weigh more than 350 lb and was able to experience the TactSuit Pro on the show floor comfortably. The team did not even hesitate to set me up with a test unit to try out the new level of video game immersion and haptic feedback.
The premium haptic suit is available now to purchase for $499. Not only does this vest have 32 feedback points, but it also has a 13.5-hour average playtime and only takes 5 hours to fully charge. It also was a comfortable fit even while I was wearing a hoodie. Now the game they used to test the full scope of the TactSuit Pro was phenomenal. Shooting the in-game shotgun created a ripple effect across the right side of my body as if firing a real weapon. The demo also lets you feel damage while wearing the haptic suit. An orb of crackling energy struck me in the back, causing a sensation of electricity to spread across my body from the impact site.

The goal of bHaptics is to provide haptic feedback for all gaming platforms and players. Haptic feedback is the next progression for gaming. It has already made its way to the PlayStation 5 controller with the DualSense, and I look forward to seeing where bHaptics takes gaming in the future.
