From the creators of the eerie atmospheric “Those Who Remain” are back with their latest game, Beneath. Beneath is an action-horror game in the depths of the ocean.
In Beneath, you play as deep-sea diver Noah Quinn, who has to brave the haunting journey of the unknown parts of the sea. Noah faces monstrous creatures and complex underwater stations filled with the unknown.
The underwater stations are a world within itself. Players must be keen on resource management as ammo is scarce, which aids in the horror mechanics presented. Enemies adapt to the player’s play style, so being tactical in every approach is key to ultimate survival. Beneath also introduces a sanity meter; this meter is an essential part of how players will try to survive the ocean’s murky depths.
Beneath will come to PC (Steam); there’s no word yet on if it will release on Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
