What news do we have on the Battlefield 2042 beta?
A Chinese video-sharing platform called Bilibili seems to have leaked the dates. And this news matched the dates provided by industry insider Tom Henderson. He said the Battlefield 2042 beta is 6th October for early access and 8th October would be available for everyone.
Why the delay?
EA decided after heavy rumors to delay Battlefield 2042 from 22nd October 22 to 19th November due to the pandemic. The early access editions are still a week early. They will now launch on the 12th of November instead of October 15th. Putting the game launch a week after the upcoming Call of Duty Vanguard. It was during this announcement they stated we would find out more on the upcoming beta this month. And with only 2 days left after today, EA was cutting it fine to get the news out as promised.
So when will we get any information?
Tom Henderson did state they planned an announcement with a new trailer tomorrow. However, it seems that leak and scheduled reveal for tomorrow have prompted action as the official Twitter account for the game stated the following.
