It’s fair to say that Baki has become Netflix’s flagship anime series. Following the story of Baki Hanma, the legendary fighter himself. With almost covering the entirety of the series of mangas and arcs what could be left for them to adapt? While it was announced during April Fools, it’s very much real as the sequel series, Baki Dou announced as in development.

Now, for those who don’t know the Baki series on Netflix is currently in the Father/Son arc. Or also known as the Parent/child quarrel arc in Japan. This leads up to the epic fight between Baki Hanma, and his father, Yujiro “The Ogre” Hanma, on equal grounds. However, after this fight who else would be left to fight, as Ogre is the strongest creature alive?

Well, that’s where Baki Dou comes in, and takes the CURRENTLY ALIVE, as the core. Because, in a world where all the strongest fighters are bored, why not use cloning and necromancy, to bring a legendary icon back to life? Yup, you read that right, Cloning and necromancy are used to bring the legendary swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi himself to life.

Living up to the insanity that one can expect from the Baki series, fans are in for a treat. Currently, there is no release date, other than the teaser trailer. So keep an eye out for more news later.
