Feels like its been a long while since we have had an episode of StarCrossed Gamers (Blame Johnnyman). There was no well-thought-out plan for what this episode was going to be about but then it hit me, Bannerlord. Mount & Blade II Bannerlord is the second installment in the franchise. Developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment this game is a single-player action RPG sim.
Now I ranted for more than 40 minutes about my recent experiences with this game. Over 30 hours have been spent on my current playthrough in the last week. I created a kingdom from nothing and then watched it get destroyed in a few battles. This is also the game I streamed when I first started taking content creation seriously. More importantly, this game set the stage for me to meet Johnnyman117.
Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Rant
This game is still in early access, but if you like Total War and action-adventure games, you should check it out. This title does an excellent job of blending the genres. You can play the majority of the game without actually fighting yourself. You can also personally lead your armies into countless battles. I have a family with three warrior children in-game. My brother fights bandits with a small army. Along with a smithy, I also started a caravan business. I’m not doing this game justice, but seriously, watch the episode above and check out the Mount & Blade games.
