More and more games are getting adapted into anime. Most recently we see that Nier automata has had an adaptation, and instead of just being a retelling. And sometimes they opt to go with an alternate storyline/universe to tell a story. One that’s familiar but still different like with the Persona animations. However, it seems that for Koei Tecmo is keen to introduce the series to new fans. As they announce that an Atelier Ryza Anime is coming.

The announcement comes during the 25th-anniversary celebration they did for the Atelier series. When talking about the newest entry in the Ryza series, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & The Secret Key; they showcased the trailer for the anime. You can view the official trailer below:

Now this anime is actually going to be adapting the first game in the Ryza series. Now, this isn’t the first Atelier game to be adapted into an anime. As the first was the second game in the Dusk trilogy, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemist of the Dusk Sky. So the fact we are seeing more adaptations for those who may have never played the games is exciting.

So tell us have you ever played the Atelier series of games? Are you looking to check out the Atelier Ryza anime when it premiers this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
