It’s finally here! After April 29th Livestream with BossLogic Ubisoft has dropped the anticipated trailer for the newest game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Cinematic World Premiere trailer was released into the world today for us to get a first look at all the Viking glory in the 12th game of the historic Assassin’s Creed franchise. Valhalla has been a long wanted wish for the Assassin’s Creed community, but many a worried how the sea fairing Viking raiding will blend with the high flying and rooftop parkour the series is so know for. Keeping that high standard of polish that we often see from the trailers of Ubisoft games the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: World Premiere Trailer managed to show the conflict that we will be facing, show the characters we are to lead, give a taste of expected troubles, hint at the co-op and look beautiful doing it. Sitting at the time of writing 1.8 million views and 161k likes on the Ubisoft North America YouTube channel I think it’s safe to say a lot of people are excited or at least really looking forward to what will come from Valhalla. Released alongside the Premier Trailer was a developer breakdown and commentary video that gives some great insight into the small details you may have missed. Youssef Maguid sat down with Ashraf Ismail the Creative Director and Darby McDevitt the Narrative Director for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to really do a deep dive into the trailer and somethings we can expect to see in the full release. As well as getting so behind the scenes into the trailer development. Scheduled to release Holiday 2020 which falls in line with other released from the franchise we can expect to see this on the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC. I also have no doubt it will come out on Xbox One and PS4 for those who haven’t upgraded by that time. I for one will be getting this for sure, the AC series is one of my top favorites and after a decade of being there alongside the Assassin’s fighting the templars, I’m not ready to call it quits just yet. Will you be getting it Assassin’s Creed Valhalla after watching the cinematic World Premiere Trailer? What did you think of the trailer? Which was your first AC game or will this be your first? Let me know in the comments below!
