It’s no doubt that From Software has truly shown off its prowess as a developer. With having become a household name with the success of their Darksouls series. Almost revolutionizing the Action RPG genre. However, some fans may not know about Hidetaka Miyazaki’s previous series the Armored Core franchise. A mecha combat series that has been dormant for the better part of a decade and an entire console generation. Last year they announced that Armored Core 6 was finally coming, and now it has a release window.
For fans of the Armored Core series with the reveal of Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon, there was one simple question. When would the game be coming out with so much focus on Elden Ring? Well, we now have a potential idea as to when we can get the game. Sources are stating that FromSoftware is focusing heavily on the game alongside the recently announced expansion for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree.
So with their focus being split, they are wanting to have AC6 done before the Elden Ring DLC. So the planned release window is fall aiming between September and October to get it out. That’s rather soon to get the game out especially when part of the team is still focused on Elden Ring. However, it seems they have a game plan.
