Anything Is Possible In Lo-Fi Game’s Kenshi

My character spawned in a rundown town in the middle of a desert and then I was set free upon the world. All I had was a rusted sword and a pet bonedog to take on the world of Kenshi. This game is truly something special in a twisted survival of the fittest sort of way. In this game, I have been kidnapped, tortured, built a small town, and even took over a few of them. Kenshi is a unique sandbox experience.

Developed and published by Lo-Fi Games back in 2013 almost 10 years ago. This game still holds my attention and shows me something new. Crazy enough this is the first game where I actually took time to dive into the Steam workshop. For those who don’t know the Workshop is the place to find all of your mods. The numerous things that can kill you in this world range from robotic spiders to cannibals. Your goal is to ultimately survive however you see fit.

Kenshi Does Not Hold Your Hand

This game as soon as you load in is trying to kill you. There are not very many clear instructions on what to do in Kenshi. You don”t manually eat it happens on its own when your character is holding food and is hungry. Like with eating a lot of the actions in this game are automated. You have control over what actions you want your characters to do but not how successful they are at it. When you fight it’s a mix of gear quality and skill level of your character versus your opponents. I promise it’s more intricate and entertaining than I am making it sound. But this is a strategy game first and foremost so keep that in mind.

You can be a trader, a criminal, or even the leader of a gang of shinobi thieves. If you like sandbox strategy RPGs, this one is well worth your money. Now, read some guides and watch plenty of videos to get a firm grasp on the world of Kenshi, and prepare for a wild ride.
