LV1 Gaming got the opportunity to go to Seattle, Washington, and cover PAX West 2026. There were board games, pin trading, beer gardens, and, of course, plenty of video games. One of the titles that stood out to the team is the upcoming survival third-person shooter, Anomalith. Developed and published by FURYU CORPORATION, you will take control of Reona Minazuki, a field agent for the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office. As a “Diver,” you will explore anomalies to retrieve objects and solve the mystery of the zones while fighting off the warped creatures who lurk there.
After playing for more than 20 minutes, Anomalith plays like a blend of multiple genres of games. Shooting and movement are reminiscent of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. The tight corridors with various open areas draped under a sinister veil have a Resident Evil vibe to it. And the character design immediately gives off a heavy anime-inspired style. Anomalith will release October 28, 2026, and will be playable on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
