AEW has confirmed the official title of their upcoming video game, “AEW: Fight For Forever.” The critically-acclaimed Yuke’s Co Ltd develops the game with hopes of providing a retro-style wrestling game. Back in 2020, the wrestling promotion first announced the game, and fans have waited patiently for more information. So here’s what we have learned from today’s news.
AEW ON PC
In an All Elite Arcade stream on AEW Games’ Twitch channel, AEW wrestler, Evil Uno provided an update on the game in development. The first-ever AEW video game is coming to major consoles and is now confirmed to release on PC at launch. This is great news for PC gamers and also fans of the modded wrestlers community.
Aliens, Beasts, and Zebras
The Twitch stream also provided a visual update of some new wrestlers that will be in AEW: Fight For Forever. Fans will be excited to know that “The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien” Kris Statlander and “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose will be on the official roster. Also, with the reveal of two new wrestlers, AEW referee Aubrey Edwards has been confirmed to be in-game. All game footage shown is not final.
Fight Forever Roster and Rumors
Previous trailers and visuals have confirmed that wrestlers like Kenny Omega, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, Darby Allin, Chris Jericho, and Hikaru Shida are playable wrestlers. Recent rumors suggest that big-name wrestlers like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Owen Hart, and Adam Cole will be playable, however, nothing official has been reported. Rumors also suggest that the game has a release window around September 2022. However, fans will have to wait a little longer for an official release date.
