Red Dead Online, Valheim, and Halo Infinite are 3 games destroying our free time. Each and every one of these games has the ability to eat up a limitless amount of our gaming lives. Personally have already put 100 plus hours into Halo Infinite alone. We have explored maybe 10% to 15% of our Valheim world. Along with that thanks to TheFloorHugger Red Dead has its hooks in me all over again. Seriously February 2022 is around the corner and I am up to my eyeballs in backlogged games. I still have Resident Evil Village in plastic (for the love of random rolls I need to learn some self-control).
Halo Infinite, what keeps me going back to this game is multiplayer. It is oddly refreshing to not have to unlock access to specific weapons. I’m used to having to get to specific levels or complete certain challenges in order to access all the weapons available. Not in Halo, it’s just a matter of knowing the map and whether or not you are quick enough to grab it. That and a lot of my friends are playing it so it’s easy to find people to run matches with.
Valheim, Odin has created a world for us to conquer and reclaim from the clutches of the forsaken. That is all. All seriousness though I fully understand all of the hype behind Valheim. The 1GB game yes you read that correctly it’s not a very large game. Has some of the most beautiful lighting and weather system around. Also, Johnny from LV1 Gaming is a level 1000 master builder so all of the bases and facilities look Pinterest-worthy.
Now the final of the 3 games destroying our free time, Red Dead Online. Now look, I am a sucker for hunting in video games. Do I participate in the sport in real life? No, but, in video games, I am hooked on it. It takes me forever to get from place to place because I am off chasing a 3-star deer to sell.
